What we hold

For business contacts we hold a name, a work email address, a job title, an employer, and the publicly available evidence that led us to get in touch — typically a job posting, a public code repository, or a regulatory filing. We record the source URL for each. We do not buy contact lists and we do not hold special-category data.

Where it comes from

Public sources only: company websites and careers pages, public applicant-tracking job boards, Hacker News, public code repositories, SEC filings, and company news. Nothing behind a login, and nothing scraped from a private network.

Why we hold it

To contact organisations about engineering services we believe are relevant to a specific, publicly visible situation. For UK and EU contacts our lawful basis is legitimate interest, and our assessment of that balance is published here. For clients we hold what is needed to deliver and invoice the work, under contract.

Who else sees it

Nobody. We do not sell, rent or share contact data. It is processed on our own systems and by our email provider solely to deliver messages.

How long

Contact records are deleted 24 months after the last interaction. If you unsubscribe we keep only your email address, permanently, on a suppression list — that is the only way to guarantee we never contact you again.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or erase it, or object to processing at any time. Email nashit@jixalabs.com and we will act within 30 days. Every message we send also carries a one-click unsubscribe link, which takes effect immediately and needs no explanation.

If you are in the UK you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
